    The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for the following core aspects of the manufacturing group:

    • QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: Will manage and ensure that all procedures, records, data collection, and document control requirements are maintained in accordance with the Solar Integrated Quality Policy. Will also be responsible for maintaining adherence to the ISO requirements and be the main contact for the ISO registrar.
    • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Will be directly involved in establishing and maintaining operational metrics to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing. These metrics include First Pass Yield, Supplier Quality, RMA, and others. In support of continuous improvement, supporting or directing an element of component engineering, new supplier qualification, and new product introduction will be required.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

    • BS degree in engineering or related technical field is required.
    • A minimum of 7 years related engineering and/or quality assurance experience
    • An understanding of 5S, ISO, and Lean manufacturing is highly desired.
    • Computer skills to include MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, etc), Autocad, Labview (or equivalent), and Document Control System (Documentum).
    • Strong interpersonal skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, and all cross-functional groups is required.
