Solar Integrated Expands Presence In Connecticut With
Two New School Solar Projects Totaling Over 530kW
Total Connecticut School Projects To Date Aggregate Over $7.5 Million   

Los Angeles, California, and London, UK, June 12, 2008 – Solar Integrated Technologies, Inc. (AIM: SIT.LN), a leading provider of building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) roofing systems, announced today that it has won two new contracts from Silktown Roofing, Inc., a general roofing contractor based in Manchester, Connecticut, to supply and install a 385kW BIPV roofing system at Naugatuck High School, Connecticut and a 147kW BIPV roofing system at Glenville School in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Combined the Naugatuck High School and Glenville School BIPV solar roofing systems will produce more than 625,000 kWh annually, enough energy to power approximately 100 homes and eliminate the production of over 600 metric tons of carbon emissions equivalent to removing more than 50 cars annually.
Solar Integrated and Silktown have now partnered on four solar roofing projects in Connecticut.  In 2007, the Company announced projects at Plainville High School in Plainville, Connecticut and New Britain High School in New Britain, Connecticut.  In total, the four projects represent more than $7.5 million of revenue for Solar Integrated.
