Solar Integrated Enhances Product Development
And Sales Capabilities

London, UK, and Los Angeles, California, February 4, 2008 – Solar Integrated Technologies, Inc. (AIM:SIT.LN), a leading provider of building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) roofing systems, announced today that it has strengthened its product development team with the appointment of Arthur Rudin as Vice President, Product Development and Dr.-Ing. Claas Helmke as Director, Product Development – Europe.  The Company also announced the appointment of David Gralnik, Vice President, Strategic Accounts & Alliances and John Snelling as Vice President, Sales and Marketing – Americas.

Arthur Rudin will lead the Company’s global product development activities.  He has more than 30 years of experience in the photovoltaic industry with a strong background in product development, product design, systems integration, business development, sales, distribution, technical sales support and training.  Mr. Rudin has product development experience with numerous thin film and crystalline-based products as well as with building-integrated products.  He served as Sharp Solar’s Director of Engineering for the past 6 years.  He previously served in various roles with Siemens Solar over 12 years.  Mr. Rudin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and has served on various industry committees.  He currently serves on the board of directors of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Photovoltaic System Assistance Center and the SolarTech Committee.

Dr.-Ing. Claas Helmke has been appointed as Director, Product Development – Europe.  He is responsible for the Company’s European product development activities.  Dr. Helmke has more than 15 years of experience in the photovoltaic industry in the areas of research, product development and international sales, with specific focus on BIPV products.  Dr. Helmke was the technical director at United Solar Ovonic’s European office for the past 3 years.  His prior experience includes 2 years with ThyssenKrupp’s Solartec group and 7 years with the European Solar Test Installations (ESTI) of the European Commission in Ispra, Italy.  Dr. Helmke has significant experience with BIPV products for single-ply roofs and for metal roofs.  He holds a Dipl. Eng. in mechanical engineering from University of Trier, Germany, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from The University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

As Vice President, Strategic Accounts & Alliances, David Gralnik brings more than 20 years of energy industry experience to Solar Integrated.  For the past 4 years, Mr. Gralnik served as an Area Sales Manager for Honeywell SES, focusing on the renewable energy market.  Prior to Honeywell SES, Mr. Gralnik’s experience includes VP responsibilities in national accounts sales management and commercial structuring at RealEnergy, TXU Energy, Sempra Energy Solutions and PG&E Energy Services.  He also previously served as the Regional Performance Contracting Sales Manager for Johnson Controls and Honeywell, Inc.

As Vice President, Sales & Marketing – Americas, John Snelling brings more than 15 years of strong sales and marketing background to Solar Integrated.  Mr. Snelling served for 10 years as Vice President, Sales & Marketing of Hanna Paper, a leader in waste paper management and global marketing of secondary fibres.  He also previously served as Vice President, Operations with responsibility for two environmentally-sensitive lamination and manufacturing facilities with approximately 85 employees.  Mr. Snelling is responsible for the Company’s overall sales, marketing, estimating and back-office activities in the Americas.
