Solar Integrated Technologies and Sarnafil Inc. Kick Off North American Sales Initiative

Los Angeles, CA, March 18, 2004 - Solar Integrated Technologies (SIT), an innovator in solar electric roofing technology and Sarnafil Inc., a worldwide leading manufacturer of high quality thermoplastic roofing and waterproofing systems have introduced a national sales initiative covering all of North America.  The initiative provides Sarnafil’s sales force with the ability to sell SIT’s innovative SR2001 solar electric roofing system.

SIT hosted 155 representatives from Sarnafil’s 2004 National Meeting in an all day training program on SIT’s SR2001 solar electric roof.  This integrated photovoltaic roofing solution combines 12 flexible, photovoltaic modules factory laminated by SIT to the Sarnafil EnergySmart Roof® membrane to form a 10-foot by 40-foot flexible solar roof panel.  The individual panels are assembled on the roof in a side by side configuration and wired to the buildings electrical system.  The result is a solar electrical roofing system that protects the building’s interior from the elements while generating power for the building’s electricity needs.
