Solar Integrated offers IEC and UL/CSA certified products for double layer systems

Our standard SolarRoof Membranes are based on robust, industrial-grade, waterproof membranes and are well suited to a variety of hot, cold, wet and dry climates. The modules qualify for the BIPV Feed in Tariff in countries in most European markets, and meet customer interests to demonstrate and market their ecological responsibility.

The double layer solution as our standard product means, that the SolarRoof Membrane is placed on top of a non-PV roofing membrane, that is either already existing or part of the new roof construction.

Characteristics of the double layer system:

  • physical independence / legal separation of roof and solar system
  • no constraints to building construction
  • electrical wiring underneath the SolarRoof Membrane modules
  • no roof penetration for cable connections

Green and economic

Installing a Solar Integrated roof makes sound financial and energy sense for business, industry or government. In addition to the cost and marketing advantages mentioned earlier, you can also participate in the LEED Green Building Rating system of the Green Building Council and access Solar Roof Incentives from Federal and State governments.
