Solar Integrated Wins Contract From Honeywell
for Solar Roofing Project at Luke AFB

Los Angeles, California, January 11, 2006 - Solar Integrated Technologies, Inc. (AIM:  SIT.LN), a leading provider of commercial building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) roofing systems, announced today that it has won a $2.5 million contract from Honeywell Building Solutions, a leading global energy services company.  Under the contract, Solar Integrated will help Honeywell install a 144,000 square foot BIPV roofing system on a building that forms part of the Base Exchange at Luke Air Force Base (AFB), Arizona.  The BIPV roofing system will initially include 122 kilowatts of solar power, with an additional 253 kilowatts of solar power pre-wired or "solar ready" for planned future project expansion.

"We are delighted to work with Honeywell to provide a BIPV roofing system at Luke AFB - where the world's greatest F-16 fighter pilots are trained," stated Jon W. Slangerup, Chief Executive Officer of Solar Integrated.  "This is a groundbreaking project for us in three ways - it marks our first BIPV roofing system contract with Honeywell, our first BIPV contract for a US military site and our first BIPV contract in Arizona."
