Together with the UNI-SOLAR^® channel partners a wide variety of solar membrane roofing solutions is available ranging from EPDM and EVA to FPO/TPO membranes. For turnkey projects Solar Integrated draws on three possible solutions:

• Completely roof integrated systems with solutions from UNI-SOLAR^® channel partners where UNI-SOLAR^® PV-laminates are directly attached to the respective roofing membrane at factory site for uniform, controlled adhesion. This solution is suitable for new buildings, re-roofing or as a double layer installation on newly refurbished roofs.
• Solar Integrated’s PowerMembrane is based on Sika’s TPO membrane and suitable for installation on new or existing roofs covered with Sika’s Sarnafil TS-77 TPO membrane. Solar Integrated’s PowerMembrane can also be installed as a single layer system, particularly where necessary to reach full BIPV status and respective higher feed-in tariffs.
• The PowerTilt system, whereby the UNI-SOLAR^® PV-laminate is attached to an aluminum insulated board installed on a light substructure. The substructure is adhered to the roof without roof penetration maintaining its watertight function and guarantee. The advantages of this system are a higher energy yield due to the optimized tilt angleand its independence from roof tilt angle – allowing installation on very flat roofs and a potentially higher packing density depending on the specifics of the individual roof. This solution is a perfect retrofit solution for existing roofs (preferably no more than three years old).
